After breakfast enjoy an exciting Jeep Safari inside Kaziranga National Park (Included in the package). Kaziranga – Majuli River Island
After breakfast drive to Jorhat and take a ferry across the Brahmaputra River to reach Majuli. Majuli is known as the world’s largest inhabited river island and has been the cultural and spiritual center of Assamese civilization for centuries. The island became famous during the 16th century when the great Assamese saint Srimanta Sankardev and his disciple Madhavdev spread the Neo-Vaishnavite culture across Assam. They established several monasteries known as Satras, which became centers of art, music, dance and religious teachings. Even today, Majuli preserves these traditions through classical dance forms like Sattriya and various cultural festivals. Visit important Satras such as: Auniati Satra, Kamalabari Satra. Majuli – Sivasagar Heritage Tour
Morning visit Samaguri Satra, famous for traditional mask making used in Assamese cultural performances. Later ferry back to Jorhat and drive to Sivasagar. Sivasagar was the historic capital of the Ahom Kingdom, which ruled Assam for nearly 600 years from the 13th century until the early 19th century. The Ahom rulers built magnificent palaces, temples and water tanks that reflect the architectural brilliance and cultural prosperity of the kingdom. Sivasagar – Kaziranga

Kaziranga – Guwahati Departure
